At its Jan. 8 meeting the Village of South Range Council carried multiple routine administrative actions and addressed a personnel matter.
Procedural votes: Trustee Balma moved, with support from Trustee Marier, to approve the Jan. 8 agenda; the motion carried on roll call with ayes recorded for President Eakin, Trustee Hill, Trustee Korby and Trustee Parolini. Trustee Marier moved, seconded by Trustee Korby, to approve the Dec. 4, 2025 regular meeting minutes as amended to add Commissioner Burkman as present; that motion carried on roll call with ayes recorded for President Eakin, Trustee Hill, Trustee Balma and Trustee Parolini.
Financial action: Trustee Korby moved to approve payment of bills totaling $100,460.84, seconded by Trustee Balma; roll call recorded ayes from Trustee Marier, Trustee Hill and Trustee Parolini and the motion carried. The annual budget meeting was scheduled for Jan. 15, 2026 and is expected to last four to five hours with food provided.
