St. James Township board signs on to $15,500 cybersecurity grant, posts Harbor Master vacancy and appoints two to parks committee

At its March 25 meeting the St. James Township Board authorized the supervisor to sign the Michigan State Police FY2024 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program agreement and related certifications for $15,500. The motion was made by Cole, supported by Gillespie, and passed on roll call (Cole Y, Gillespie Y, Welke Y).
In administrative business the board appointed Denise McDonough and Shannon McGarry to the township’s Parks and Recreation Committee following a motion by Cole supported by Gillespie. The board also approved posting the Harbor Master vacancy for two weeks, from March 26 to April 9, 2026.
The meeting minutes were submitted by Deputy Clerk Suzanne Boyle. The board adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
