Village Manager Jim Lower asked for council guidance; members expressed willingness to allow multi-family development on the RM (residential — medium density) parcel. Council Member Courtney Mais moved to proceed with the sale and Tom Peoples seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Council did not accept Habitat for Humanity’s $10,000 offer as the final sale price but instead chose to solicit bids through an open-market listing. The Village did not specify a minimum acceptable bid in the meeting and provided no timeline for the listing.
