Village Manager Saylors reported the village’s Wastewater Project is progressing on schedule and that the village is commissioning an updated rate study to inform future utility rates. The council reviewed October 2024 disbursements, saw a DPW report for October, and discussed delinquent accounts and shutoff procedures.
The report to council included operational updates: Complete Tree removed five trees from the front of the cemetery, and Clerk Theresa Woolworth and Manager Saylors met with the auditor on Nov. 7 to review audit questions. Collin Hawes submitted the DPW October 2024 report; the council reviewed the October account balance report during the session.
Council members discussed delinquent accounts and how the village handles shutoffs but recorded no formal motion or vote in the transcript. The manager noted the next meeting date as Nov. 21. The workshop did not produce binding action on rates or collections; any changes to rates or shutoff policy would require formal agenda action at a later meeting.
