The commission approved payment of $54,800 to Ryan Smith Construction for a public-works project to remodel the probate office, and accepted multiple public-works bid recommendations for striping, guardrail, paving and surface treatment contracts as presented by the county engineer.
IT and public-safety procurement included awarding bid 2026-32 for an audio-visual live-stream system to Shark SBS (Georgia and Alabama) for approximately $81,979 (amount recorded in the minutes) to outfit courthouse venues; commissioners also approved surplus of seven legacy time clocks and several software renewals and subscriptions for the sheriff’s office (including E-RAD and Amped Software) pending county attorney review where noted.
