Superintendent Jennifer McKittrick presented the first reading of the NEOLA Policy 40-1 Update to the St. Louis Board of Education on Jan. 19 and informed members that a second reading will be scheduled for the February board meeting.
McKittrick stated the policy update was presented "for consideration" and that the board would receive a second reading in February before any action to adopt the update.
No formal vote on the policy was taken at the Jan. 19 meeting; the board expects to revisit the item at its next regular meeting.
