The St. Louis Board of Education voted Jan. 19 to approve payment of $800,812.76 in board bills and to carry several routine items of business.
Member William Bosquez moved and Member Chad Clark seconded a motion to approve and pay the board bills totaling $800,812.76. A roll-call vote recorded six "aye" votes (Carrie Salladay, Kelly Bebow, John Pavlik, William Bosquez, Chad Clark and Steve Brimmer); Member Carla Trevino was absent and the motion passed.
Earlier in the meeting, Member Kelly Bebow moved and Member John Pavlik supported approval of the meeting agenda and the minutes from the Dec. 15, 2025 meeting (the minutes were approved with a clerical change noting Board Minutes submitted by Superintendent Jennifer McKittrick). The board also approved the monthly activity report on a unanimous voice vote.
On personnel matters the board approved the resignation of Erica Lehner, first-grade teacher at Carrie Knause (motion by Member Kelly Bebow, supported by Member John Pavlik) and accepted the resignation of Jeff DeRosia, varsity baseball coach (motion by Member Chad Clark, supported by Member William Bosquez). The board approved hiring Ryan Hoyt as varsity baseball coach (motion by Member Kelly Bebow, supported by Member Steve Brimmer). Each personnel motion was recorded as "All Ayes."
The board reviewed financial reports and directed Diann Woodcock to place the monthly receipts on file.
The meeting adjourned at 7:47 p.m.
