Superintendent Kroczaleski reported the district received a letter from MIOSHA related to a complaint about mold in several Central Elementary classrooms. He said laboratory testing showed normal levels of mold species commonly found indoors and "the findings did not indicate any indoor air quality issues or indoor mold sources and were consistent with levels typically found in clean indoor environments," adding that the building does not present an increased risk of mold exposure to occupants. Kroczaleski also provided an update on student enrollment ahead of October Count Day and noted that state budget action had not yet been finalized.
On personnel matters the board accepted the resignations of Shannon Pinchot, Tina Robinson, Cassie Ballew, Angela King and Taylor Carter and thanked them for their service. The board approved hiring Madyson Ahleman as the boys varsity swim coach. It also approved hiring Melissa Dubey as a GSRP teacher, Lindsay Pula as a teacher at Central Elementary, Deseray Baker as a bus driver, Elizabeth Mier as a paraprofessional, and Janet Kernstock as a recess aide. Each motion passed by recorded voice vote as noted in the minutes with a 6–0 tally among those present; Jeffrey Ryan was recorded absent for the session.
