Saline County Board of Equalization approves agenda and prior minutes, then adjourns

The Saline County Board of Equalization met at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, in the Saline County Commissioners' Room at the courthouse in Wilber. Chairperson Stephanie A. Krivohlavek called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Clerk Diann Nettifee recorded that Commissioners Stephanie A. Krivohlavek, Ray Rohrig, Brian Pribyl and Phil Hardenburger were present and that Commissioner Russ Karpisek was absent. Nettifee stated the meeting notice had been posted in the county clerk’s office and published in all three county newspapers on July 30, 2025, in compliance with state statutes and the Open Meetings Act.
Commissioner Phil Hardenburger moved to approve the Board of Equalization agenda; Commissioner Ray Rohrig seconded the motion. Chair Krivohlavek announced the motion carried with four ayes and one absent.
Commissioner Ray Rohrig then moved to approve the minutes of the previous Board of Equalization meeting; Commissioner Brian Pribyl seconded. Chair Krivohlavek announced that motion also carried with four ayes and one absent.
No members of the public spoke during the Citizens Forum. With no further business, Chair Krivohlavek declared the meeting adjourned at 9:18 a.m. The board scheduled its next regular meeting for Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at 9:15 a.m. in the Saline County Commissioners' Room at the courthouse in Wilber.
The minutes were later certified by County Clerk Diann Nettifee on Aug. 19, 2025.
