NMHS roof work underway; gym floor nearly complete; Sarah Noble oil tank removed

Mayor Pete Bass told the board that roofing contractors began work the day before and had "completed eight panels today." He estimated that roughly 40% of the roof requires attention. Mr. Tom O'Brien said he reviewed the plan at the MBC meeting and was impressed with it; Mayor Bass said Mr. Cunningham and Mr. Manka were consulted and are being updated daily.
Dr. Janet Parlato reported the New Milford High School gym floor is about 80% complete. Mr. O'Brien also reported that the oil tank at Sarah Noble Intermediate School has been removed.
The updates were informational; the board did not take separate action beyond receiving the reports.
