Juneau Assembly approves appointments to Airport, Docks and Harbors and Eagle Crest boards

Mr. Kelly said the Human Resources Committee forwarded appointments for three city boards and moved to appoint four people to the Airport Board: David Epstein (term ending 2029), Mike Neussl (term ending 2029), Jerry Godkin (term ending 2027) and Jordan Kessler (term ending 2028). After the assembly was asked for objections and none were raised, the mayor declared the appointments made.
The assembly also approved a motion to appoint Nolan Davis as tenant liaison to the Airport Board for a term ending in 2027.
For the Docks and Harbors Board, the assembly moved to appoint Tyler Emerson, Sham Scooter (the assembly corrected the spelling to "Sham Scooter"), and Steve Box to terms ending in 2029; the appointments were approved after no objections were voiced.
Mr. Kelly moved to appoint Kevin Kryne and Sandy Hussein to the Eagle Crest Board for terms ending in 2029 and Shawn O'Neal for a term ending in 2027. The assembly approved those appointments by consensus.
An assembly member reported that the Downtown Business Association said it will reach out to discuss how to allocate partial funding for the Ambassador program—either splitting it across calendar years or applying it to the end of the current year—and it was not yet clear whether the association would contact the assembly directly or go through city staff.
The meeting ended with brief birthday acknowledgments and the mayor adjourning the assembly.
