The chair will be housed initially at the Beebe School and coordinated by Assistant Superintendent Pam Macdonald; it is intended for short-term, no-cost loans to students or community members with mobility needs and is transportable for field trips.
Consent agenda: The committee approved the Nov. 10, 2025 regular session minutes and November 2025 warrants.
Policy votes: The committee approved revisions to Policy IKF (Competency Determination), required after the elimination of MCAS, with discussion emphasizing balanced assessment approaches and equity for students with disabilities and multilingual learners. The committee then suspended docket rules to bring forward minor language changes to Policy IHAIA (Middle School Pathways Exploration) and approved the revised policy. The committee later made a motion to table the item regarding subcommittees for 2026 and 2027.
Executive session and adjournment: The committee entered executive session at 8:36 p.m. and reconvened at 8:52 p.m.; it adjourned the regular session at 8:53 p.m.
