Ms. Trotter summarized parade logistics, noting a sign-up sheet for commissioners who wish to participate and for staffing a table in Cloud Park; the commission discussed decorating a trailer and inquired about whether a budget could be made available for decorations. The Heritage Picnic on July 18 was raised as another opportunity for commission participation.
Mr. Richardson also provided details for a Community Basketball Game scheduled for Aug. 23 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Community Park; Wayne Sporting Goods has volunteered to sponsor trophies for the event.
