Blandford Select Board approves warrants, extends town administrator contract and appoints three planning board members
Summary
On July 28 the Blandford Select Board approved multiple payroll and accounts-payable warrants, unanimously approved a contract extension for Town Administrator Cristina Ferrera, and appointed Scott O’Connor and Ronald Racine to the Planning Board and Brian Nimerowski as an associate member.
The Blandford Joint Select Board approved routine financial warrants and made several personnel and appointment decisions at its July 28 meeting.
Chair Cara Letendre moved and Member T. Cousineau seconded unanimous motions to approve Warrant #28 Payroll, Warrant #01 Payroll, Warrant #02 Accounts Payable & Wired Payments, and Warrant #02 Payroll. Each motion passed with an 'All in Favor' vote.
The board also approved a contract extension for Town Administrator Cristina Ferrera; the motion to extend Ferrera’s contract was approved unanimously. The board appointed Scott O’Connor to replace Paul Martin on the Planning Board for a term through June 30, 2027, and appointed Ronald Racine to replace Robert Twyman for a term through June 30, 2028. The board also appointed Brian Nimerowski as an associate Planning Board member for a term through June 30, 2028. All appointment motions were moved by Chair Letendre, seconded by T. Cousineau, and approved unanimously.
No contested votes or abstentions were recorded in the minutes for these agenda items. The meeting minutes for May 19, June 2, June 9 and the Joint Water & Select Board meeting of June 16 were likewise approved earlier in the session.
