The Dodge County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved several routine items and referrals during its Nov. 26 regular meeting in Fremont.
The board approved the minutes of the Nov. 12, 2025 meeting as printed. It then unanimously approved wage and hour claims totaling $299,063.87 and financial claims totaling $641,483.68 as submitted.
Later, convening as the Board of Equalization, the board received correspondence from the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review Commission (TERC): a corrected Findings & Order Nunc Pro Tunc on Confession of Judgment for The Kroger Co., Case Nos. 22C 0198, 23C 0351 and 24C 0279. The board referred that correspondence to County Attorney Hopkins for review.
Other items recorded in the minutes included committee updates: Election Office staff and IT moves are underway, courthouse security procedures are under review by the Security Committee and Sheriff Weitzel and will be presented at the Dec. 23 meeting, and the board approved a contract with Jeff Ray for zoning administration pending legal review.
The meeting was certified by Micki Gilfry, Dodge County Clerk. The Board recessed for a short Board of Corrections session, heard an inmate population report and adjourned the Board of Supervisors until Dec. 10, 2025.
