Property owner to fund Perma-zyne treatment on 110th Street; Board authorizes agreement work

Lyon County Engineer Daryl Albertson told the Board on May 26 that a property owner wants Perma-zyne applied to roughly 1.5 miles of gravel road on 110th Street between Chestnut and Coolidge Avenue and is willing to pay for the product. The Board voted to allow the engineer to contact the vendor and the property owner and to work with County Attorney Nolan McGowan on an agreement for the project; the motion was made by Altena and seconded by Scholten and carried.
