Mr. Pastore reported that the district’s E‑Rate category one filing has been submitted and approved for next year and that the migration from Frontier copper phone lines to a Comcast network solution is complete at Prendergast, with remaining buildings to follow.
Other brief reports included a Food Service update from Mr. Benham (department “in good shape”), enrollment figures, a Youth Family Outreach summary from Mr. Lisi reviewing attendance concerns and transient data, facilities updates from Bob Evans on snow removal and mechanical issues, and communications updates from Dr. Morales regarding McKinney‑Vento support, Black History Month activities and district newsletters.
Superintendent DiBacco thanked Attorney Dugas for the legal briefing and summarized his recent activities, including meetings with regional and state education groups and outreach to Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro regarding potential impacts from grant cancellations. Diane Stroman commended students who participated in the district MLK program.
