The Dodge County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved financial claims totaling $867,421.55 at its May 27 meeting and separately approved wage and hour claims of $307,082.71. The board also approved reversal of a duplicate transfer totaling $20,320.55 that had been recorded from the General Fund to the First Responders Fund; the duplicate amount was made up of two transfers previously approved on July 23, 2025 ($16,361.06) and Aug. 6, 2025 ($3,959.49).
Chairman Missel presided over the session at the Dodge County Courthouse in Fremont. The reversal was made part of the board’s approval of the county audit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025; the minutes record that the duplicate transfer was identified in that audit and rolled back by action of the board.
The board handled the claims and transfer reversal as routine fiscal business; no additional discussion or separate dissent was recorded in the minutes. The board also received several informational items earlier in the meeting, including a Statement of Revenues & Expenses year-to-date comparison and a budget request from the Eastern Nebraska Human Services Agency that was referred to the finance committee.
The Board recessed for other agenda business and later convened as the Board of Equalization. The meeting was adjourned to Wednesday, June 10, 2026 for its next regular session.
