Committee members asked for clarification about counts from specific towns; staff answered that the district reported 34 students from one nearby town and discussed programmatic draws such as vocational programs, arts offerings and athletics. Staff also noted that special-education services continue to attract families and that some district employees live in neighboring towns and enroll their children in district schools.
