Wymore — The Wymore City Council on Aug. 7 asked the city attorney to review local ordinances for compliance with LB 1118, a bill passed by the Nebraska Legislature on July 19.
Council member Neil Van Boening raised LB 1118 and its potential implications for city ordinances. Max Allen moved, and Sue Sapp seconded, that City Attorney Andrew Carothers review the city’s ordinances to ensure compliance; the motion carried 4‑0. The minutes record that Carothers was not in attendance at the meeting.
Also during the meeting Tim Sedlacek presented two plumbing bids for a new bathroom at Arbor State Park (Lammel’s Plumbing and Lauby Plumbing); the council tabled that item to the next meeting.
