Town Clerk Susan Supranowicz told the Select Board on Oct. 21 that the dedication for the engraving on Phoebe Jordan’s grave will be Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at the town cemetery, with a reception to follow at Town Hall.
Susan said there were no early voters on Saturday but announced additional early voting opportunities: Wednesday from 2:00–4:00 p.m.; a Saturday period of four hours following the town’s vaccination clinic; and Friday, Nov. 1 from 1:00–5:00 p.m. She reported that the office sent 43 mail-in ballots and had received 23 back so far.
Select Board member Mark Phelps moved, and Chair Jason Jayko seconded, a motion authorizing the Treasurer to use the town credit card to purchase a heavy-duty shredder priced at $99.99. The transcript records the motion and second but does not show a recorded vote or result; the article therefore reports the motion and notes that the vote outcome was not specified in the meeting record.
Under "Old and Any Other Unforeseen Business," the board set Trick-or-Treat hours for Oct. 31 from 5:00–7:00 p.m. The warrants were reviewed and signed. The board scheduled its next meeting for Nov. 4, 2024 and adjourned at 6:49 p.m.
