The Saukville Architectural Review Board voted to approve plans for three single-family homes at 820, 826 and 828 Stanton Way and a side-by-side home at 745 and 749 Stanton Way during its June 2 meeting.
Chair Jim Nowlen convened the meeting at 5:45 p.m. and Dawn Wagner, the village administrator, read the statement of public notice and noted attendance. Developer Brian Wustmann, appearing via Zoom and identified in the agenda materials as representing Northern Gateway Homes, LLC (Ansay Development was also listed in the meeting attendance), presented an overview of the projects’ architectural design concepts and referenced attached materials submitted with the applications.
Wagner read written comments from reviewer Pamula Hughes, who said she had reviewed the materials and "do[es] not have any issues or concerns at this time," and added that she liked the color and material selections, the alternating color of home designs, and the resulting consistency in the development’s appearance.
Following the presentation and the submitted review, board members Brandon Donen and Chuck Prendergast moved to collectively approve the four Stanton Way applications as submitted by Wustmann. The motion carried. The transcript records the action as approved but does not provide a roll-call vote tally.
The board had no other matters on the agenda and adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
The approvals authorize the developer to proceed with the design as presented to the Architectural Review Board; any subsequent permitting or building approvals required under village code would follow separate staff and permitting processes.
