Bunker Hill Village council makes appointments, names commission representatives

At its June 17 meeting the Bunker Hill Village City Council made several organizational appointments and approved resolutions naming the city’s representatives to regional commissions.
Council appointed Councilmember Susan Schwartz as Mayor Pro-Tem for a one-year term by a 4-0 vote. The council also appointed Dan Blake, Hunter Cameron, John Gilette, Bill Going, Paul Reinbolt, and Catherine Wile to the Planning and Zoning Commission for two-year terms ending June 30, 2027; the council retained a quorum while a third vacancy remains to be filled at a future meeting.
The council approved appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustment, naming Michelle Belco, David Light, David Marshall, Louis Crappito (alternate), and Ryan West (alternate) for two-year terms ending June 30, 2027. Council approved Resolution No. 06-17-2025A naming Carl Moerer and Bert Rosenbaum as the city’s commissioners and William Murphy as alternate to the Memorial Villages Police Department Board, and Resolution No. 06-17-2025B naming Keith Brown and Clara Towsley as commissioner and alternate to the Village Fire Department Board. All motions recorded in the minutes carried 4-0.
Council also assigned committee liaison roles: Beautification (Eric Thode), Drainage (Andrew Poor), Finance (Susan Schwartz), Public Safety (Andrew Poor), Technology (Eric Thode), Planning & Zoning liaison (Josh Pratt), and Zoning Board of Adjustment liaison (Susan Schwartz).
