The Select Board approved three mobile food vendor applications on July 1, allowing temporary food service at town events and locations this summer.
The board approved a permit for Cousins Main Lobster Truck to operate at 1375 North Main Street from noon to 6 p.m. on July 16. The board then approved a second application for a vendor listed in the record as associated with multiple dates (July 7, July 21, Aug. 10 and Sept. 7) at town event locations. Finally, the board approved a popup application by Jill Lopez to serve at Berkshire Mountain Distilleries on July 6 and at the Sheffield Fair on Sept. 7; the chair noted the application was approved pending submission of outstanding documents to the town office.
The board accepted the motions by voice vote; members said applications appeared complete for the purposes of approval but instructed applicants to supply any missing paperwork to the office.
Next steps: applicants will provide required documents to the town office as requested; permits will be processed administratively following receipt of pending items.
