Planning/Zoning Administrator Jon Pettit told the council that four new permits have been filed: permit #1755 for Daniel Sorum to build a 16-by-30-by-56-foot hay shed without sides on Ridgeview Road; #1756 for Bob Kingsley to reroof a 30-by-45-foot shed on County Road 27; #1757 for Shayna and Blake Erickson for new windows, siding and a replacement deck on Main Street; and #1758 for Duane Miner for a 12-by-48-foot lean-on barn on Benson Lane.
Pettit said he had been unable to make contact with Jack Hedin about the Featherstone Farms interim-use permit renewal and hopes to reach Hedin before the April 21 zoning meeting. He also said zoning staff will continue work on revising the zoning fee schedule.
The council did not take final action on the interim-use renewal at the April 7 meeting; Pettit indicated the matter will return when contact with the applicant is made or at the April 21 meeting.
