Rushford Village council approves March finances, authorizes spare water meter purchase

Clerk Mary Miner presented estimated April receipts of $10,000 and estimated expenses of $42,000 and noted that certificates of deposit were renewing at current advertised rates. The council approved the financial report by motion.
Public Works/Maintenance Assistant Adam Johnson told the council that the city needs a spare 3/4-inch water meter because delivery takes about three weeks; the council moved to purchase one meter from Metron Farnier for $395.00 and approved the purchase by motion.
Other procedural items were handled quickly: the agenda and minutes were approved, and the meeting adjourned by motion at 7:14 p.m.
The council listed upcoming dates including the April 21 council meeting and a spring road tour scheduled for May 5 at 5:30 p.m.; the council will consider additional budget or repair costs at future meetings.
