Orleans council approves new floodplain, yard-encroachment ordinances; OKs contractor payments for 140th Street work

Separately, the council adopted Resolution No. 2025-23 naming official depositories for the city and approved a right-of-way excavation permit to reinstall water service at 13632 253rd Avenue for garden use on a vacant lot; the permit contains a restriction that the connection cannot be used for an RV. The council also voted not to approve payment of an invoice submitted for a private sewer service repair.
