The phone dialer at the well house was reported not to be working; staff said installation needs to be completed so alarms will reach on‑call personnel. Dessner also noted tubing for chemical feed should be replaced annually.
The minutes record that MRWA (Minnesota Rural Water Association) reviewed the pump house and hydrant issues but could not determine the root cause; the minutes state McCarthy Well suspects the meter on the pipe may be the problem. The council directed staff to proceed with the planned servicing and interim measures and to report back on results.
