Committee participants emphasized that DOER may place conditions on funding release that the town must meet before money is disbursed, and they singled out a needed interconnection permission from National Grid as a likely prerequisite.
“We have the letters of intent ready to sign,” a committee member said during the meeting, adding that Michael, the town staff contact, is currently tied up with post‑town‑meeting work and will lead the Select Board coordination. Members agreed the committee will circulate final edits to a purchasing policy and other materials in advance of the DOER conversation.
