Operations Manager Shane Willis recalled a prior decision to move the aeration system and presented Premier Lakes’ one‑time work order and a revised proposal from Bentley Electric adding an additional 125 feet of electrical work. Board members discussed budget implications and the option to delay relocation until next year’s budget process.
On a motion by Bob Schultz, seconded by Robert Twombly, the Board approved installing the temporary box. The motion passed 3–2, with Supervisors Schultz, Twombly and Merrill voting in favor and Supervisors Mountford and Blumenthal dissenting. Staff noted a prior relocation proposal figure of about $10,755 and said the larger relocation proposal would be revisited during Fiscal Year 2026 budget discussions.
The record shows the temporary box is intended to allow continued aeration service while the Board evaluates whether to proceed with full relocation and related electrical work. No final contract for the Bentley Electric relocation was executed at the meeting; staff were directed to include relocation costs in future budget deliberations.
