School committee approves overnight trips for 7th and 8th graders

The motion to approve the Grade 8 trip was made by Breanna Higgins and seconded by Brian Callahan; the motion passed. Vice Chair Juliet Walker suggested the district send periodic parent surveys to collect feedback on the Grade 8 trip.
Both approvals were recorded as consistent with Policy JJH — Student Overnight or Late Night Travel. The committee did not record individual roll‑call vote tallies in the minutes; motions were entered as passed with Mayor Sean Reardon absent.
