When aldermen asked for costs, Bradbury confirmed the line‑item amounts and connected them to the prior month’s bonding authorization. The board approved the resolution concerning the Foran pool design (item 8C) by roll call, 11 yes to 1 no (Alderman Winthre Smith Jr. opposed). Two other school‑related resolutions on hazardous‑material abatement (8D) and HVAC/ventilation/masonry improvements (8E) passed by the same roll‑call pattern (11 yes, 1 no).
Other business tied to school facilities included approval of parking and playground repairs in the bonding package. The votes follow the board’s earlier bonding actions and authorize moving forward with design and abatement work.
