Dollar General final plans sent to Planning Commission; engineer files maintenance agreement

Village Engineer Rich Wasosky told the council on Jan. 8 that the Zaremba Group's Dollar General development final plans are tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission on Jan. 15, 2020, and that four additional variances will be requested.
Wasosky said Summit Soil & Water is conducting a final plan review and hopes to have comments ready for the Jan. 15 meeting. He also said he would transmit a proposed long‑term maintenance agreement the next day; the agreement must be signed by both the Dollar General owner and the Village before it would take effect.
Councilmember Alan Hipps asked that Planning Commission members receive 11x17 copies of the final plans for their review before the meeting. No formal vote on the development was taken at the council meeting; the transcript records the Planning Commission as the next step.
