The Collier County School Board approved a broad consent agenda at its Dec. 10 meeting that included multiple construction contract reconciliations and final completions across district schools, purchases of vehicles and equipment, routine finance items (October budget amendments and financial statements), personnel approvals, and renewal of district service contracts.
The consent agenda covered numerous facilities projects (for example, contract reconciliations and final completions at Colusa Park Elementary, Seagate Elementary, Gulf Coast High School, Barron Collier High School and other sites), procurement approvals for transportation vehicles and equipment, HVAC and maintenance service renewals, and human resources personnel actions. The board approved the consent agenda by motion (moved by Tim Moshear, seconded by Kelly Mason) and the motion carried with all five members recorded as voting in favor.
Earlier in the meeting, Kelly Mason moved and Eric Carter seconded approval of the board agenda with changes (motion carried). Later, the board considered travel for two members to attend the Florida School Boards Association (FSBA) 39th Annual Day in the Legislature. Eric Carter moved to allow Chair Stephanie Lucarelli and Tim Moshear to attend; Tim Moshear seconded. The motion carried 3–2, with Kelly Mason and Jerry Rutherford recorded as voting nay.
The meeting record shows the board adjourned at 10:10 a.m. after approving the day’s business.
