Larrea, a village staff member, said this would be “the second of a possible three grants the village will be seeking for shoreline stabilization on the Coal Dock,” and noted the village would count some employee time as an in‑kind match. When Committee member Perkins asked whether any trees would be removed, Larrea responded, “in the location of the stabilization there are no trees that would be disturbed.”
Committee member Bahle moved to adopt Resolution 1 of 2026; Committee member Christensen seconded. The motion specifically authorized staff to submit the shoreline stabilization grant application and made a financial commitment of $17,436.31 toward the project, split as $11,700 in cash and $5,736.31 in‑kind. On a roll call vote Bahle, Christensen, Perkins and President Lutke voted yes; three members were recorded as absent. The motion carried.
At the meeting’s close, Perkins asked about April committee meeting schedules. The special meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. and adjourned at 8:37 a.m. Minutes were prepared by Village Clerk Dorothy Petroskey.
