The Stronach Township Planning Commission unanimously elected Ted Batzer as chair, Carl Lacki as vice chair and Daniel Landis as secretary at its March 4, 2025 meeting.
Commissioner Carl Lacki called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and, after approving the agenda and the Jan. 2 minutes, Terry Lindeman moved (seconded by Lacki) to open nominations. Lacki nominated Batzer for chair; the nomination was approved by all members present. Batzer then nominated Lacki for vice chair and nominated Daniel Landis for secretary; both nominations were approved unanimously. The motions to approve the agenda and minutes were recorded as "all approved, motion carried."
The new officers will oversee commission work as members prepare to resume review of proposed Master Plan changes at a future meeting. The commission did not take further substantive votes on policy or zoning changes at this session.
The meeting record lists Commissioners Carl Lacki, Ted Batzer, Terry Lindeman and Daniel Landis as present and Phil Landis as absent.
