Commission authorizes administrative approval for 1 Pond View Lane; recommends 20‑ft buffer and wetland markers

The Sherman Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission on June 16 authorized the I/W agent to administratively approve Application #05-26 for a new single‑family dwelling, well, septic and driveway at 1 Pond View Lane.
Jeff Osborn attended for the property owner and the I/W agent reported that a small portion of the building and driveway had been moved into the regulated area. Commissioners requested that the project observe a 20‑foot buffer from wetlands and install markers spaced about 25 to 50 feet apart along the wetland boundary. Commissioner Merialis Lewis moved to permit administrative approval by the agent; Commissioner Marisa Guthrie seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
The commission determined there is no work located in an actual wetland or watercourse as presented, and the agent will issue the administrative approval with the recommended buffer and marking guidance.
