Centerville City Council approves Oak Street reconstruction contract after public hearing

Separately, the council approved a Construction Inspection Agreement with Hall Engineering, a step officials said will ensure project inspections and oversight during construction. Both votes were unanimous; roll-call votes listed Brauman, Creagan, Hamilton, Hoffman and Kruzic in favor.
The council also noted that bids for Oak Street had been opened by Public Works staff as part of the procurement process. No contract dollar amounts, contractor names, or construction schedules were specified in the meeting transcript.
