The council did not set new service terms in the meeting; Martin described the agenda item as a formal ratification of the assignment. There was no separate public hearing or additional contract documents presented to the council at the meeting. Council members did not request further amendments or conditions during the motion.
The council's consent agenda, approved earlier in the meeting, included disbursements and department reports. No additional action related to the solid-waste contract was reported at the meeting.
