Deputy Fire Chief Trenton Bacus told the Knoxville City Council on March 16 that the department’s new ladder truck has been delivered and is ready for service.
"The new ladder truck was delivered. Graphics have been designed and will be added soon. If needed, the truck is ready to respond," Bacus said.
City Manager Heather Ussery was present during the report. The delivery completes a capital acquisition recorded in the department’s equipment inventory; the minutes do not specify purchase price, funding source, or delivery vendor. The council took no separate vote on the delivery; the report was provided as an informational update during the meeting.
The council adjourned at 6:19 p.m.
