Municipal Building Authority approves $502,084 invoice for Community Health Building

The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority approved an open invoice register at a special meeting, including a $502,084.41 pay application to Hasbro Construction for the Community Health Building. The vote followed a brief administrative review and passed with unanimous verbal assent.

The clerk, Dorinda Isaacson, told the board that Jones & DeMille had been handled at a prior meeting and that "the only one that you need to approve today is Hasbro Construction. It's their pay application number 4 for the Community Health Building for $502,084.41." A commissioner moved to approve the open invoice register dated the 29th; the chair seconded the motion. The board responded with three "Aye" votes and no opposition was recorded.

The action covered the open invoice register only; the board did not approve any construction change orders at the meeting. A commissioner said the board would wait for revised documents from the contractor, reviewed and approved by the architect, before taking any action on change orders. After the vote the chair asked for—and received—permission to apply the commissioner’s stamp to finalize the approved register.

The meeting closed shortly afterward. The clerk ran the register, presented the pay application and will complete the administrative signing process; no further schedule for change-order review was announced.
