Daggett County Municipal Building Authority approves invoices and hears project updates

The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority on Tuesday approved its prior meeting minutes, acknowledged a cash summary and accounts receivable report, and approved an open invoice register totaling $358,467.85.
Chair opened the meeting at 9:27 a.m. and led the board through routine business, including a motion to approve the minutes from the Authority’s Aug. 19 meeting. The motion carried on a voice vote.
Jack, a staff member, briefed the board on the county’s water treatment plant project, saying the contractor has "just about got the skeleton out" and is "putting the skin on," and that the work appears to be on schedule. Randy, a staff member, told the board the clinic construction is "moving forward," reporting that two or three related projects are underway and crews are beginning to place fill for footings so the site may soon show above-ground progress.
The board reviewed the cash summary and accounts receivable (AR) report. The transcript records a figure read from the AR report as "$324,004.33 84"; staff also referenced a fund balance figure of more than $600,000 and said some amounts remain in pending reimbursement or in open invoices. The board moved to acknowledge receipt of the cash summary and AR report as of Aug. 22, 2025; that motion passed on a voice vote.
The Authority then approved an open invoice register dated Aug. 21, 2025, in the amount of $358,467.85. A board member noted that the invoices in the register likely explain part of the difference between the AR line items and the larger fund-balance figure; staff indicated they will reconcile those items.
There were no citizen comments. Under correspondence and calendar items, a board member asked about a CIB meeting mentioned "on this 3rd" (the transcript did not specify the month); the Chair also noted a construction coordination meeting for the clinic on Thursday at 10 a.m.
With no further business, the Chair adjourned the meeting by acclamation at 9:37 a.m.
