Committee member: Clinic basement framed; roadway and water-line work expected next

A committee member told the Daggett County Municipal Building Authority on Oct. 14 that construction of the new county clinic has reached the basement framing stage and that portions of the upper-level walls are up. “We got the basement frame. They've got part of the walls up on the upper building,” the committee member said, describing visible progress and vibration from on-site equipment.
The member said crews are preparing for roadway work and the installation of a water line but that the south side of the site has not yet been backfilled: the contractor is waiting to place the water line before completing the south-side backfill. The member added that work on the backfill and roadway will follow the current framing activity.
The authority did not consider any construction change orders during the meeting. The chair also noted the regular construction meeting was rescheduled from Thursday to Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. for further coordination among staff and contractors.
