Sudbury Cultural Council approves Jazz Lunch date, minutes; discusses publicity and rail-trail art report

At the Oct. 22 Sudbury Cultural Council meeting at Goodnow Library, members handled several items of other business, including two formal approvals and discussion of outreach and a subcommittee report.
Anna Ryan, Cultural Council member, explained that the Senior Center's Jazz Lunch date had been changed to Nov. 20. Nancy Hudgins moved to approve the new date; Rich Gallup seconded, and the council voted unanimously to adopt Nov. 20 for the event.
Diana Peters moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting; Nancy Hudgins seconded the motion and the minutes were approved unanimously.
Bethany Shaw raised concerns about the need for broader distribution and coordination of publicity for council-supported events. A subcommittee also reported that it has submitted a rail-trail art project report to the CPC (as noted in the meeting minutes).
The council scheduled its next meeting for Nov. 18 at the Police Station. The Oct. 22 meeting adjourned at 8:44 p.m.
