COA liaison reports CPC proposal for two affordable units on Hudson Road

Carmine Gentile reported to the Council on Aging on Nov. 10 that the Housing Authority and Housing Trust presented on Oct. 23 at Goodnow Library and that a Nov. 5 Community Preservation Committee proposal seeks funding for two affordable housing units on Hudson Road. Gentile said the Trust is also maintaining funds to pursue additional opportunities, citing 59 Horse Pond Road as an example. The Oct. 23 presentation was streamed by Sudbury TV.
No vote on CPC funding was taken at the COA meeting; Gentile’s update was provided as a community liaison report. The COA will monitor the CPC process and any subsequent Select Board or funding decisions.
