At the Feb. 10 meeting the Sudbury Historical Commission approved its 2025 Annual Town Report and the Jan. 20, 2026 meeting minutes, reviewed finance balances ahead of Town Meeting and set the next meeting date.
Mr. Hagger moved to approve the 2025 SHC Annual Town Report as displayed; Mr. Durall seconded and the motion passed 7–0. The commission also voted 7–0 to approve the Jan. 20, 2026 meeting minutes as edited.
Finance review: Treasurer Chris Durall reported the General Fund had a remaining balance of $3,785 (including all approved expenses) and the Hosmer House Fund had a balance of $19,368. Mr. Durall said the fiscal budget will be voted at Town Meeting in May; the commission discussed whether a member should attend Town Meeting to answer questions about the budget.
The commission confirmed its next meeting would be March 10, 2026. Chair Hagger moved to adjourn; Ms. Katz seconded and the motion to adjourn carried 7–0. The meeting adjourned at 9:18 PM.
Why it matters: Recording approvals, budget balances and meeting scheduling are routine but necessary actions that enable follow-up work on restoration, procurement and grant items already discussed in the meeting.
