A board member had nominated Blodgett during the reorganization process and members closed nominations before the vote.
The board also nominated and approved Amy Rosenthal as vice chair and named Marilyn (last name not specified in the transcript) chair pro tempore to serve when both the chair and vice chair are absent. The board confirmed Matt Galen, identified in discussion as the township zoning officer, to serve as the recording secretary.

The board approved minutes from previous meetings, including the regular meeting of Aug. 27, 2024 and the Nov. 26, 2024 meeting (the latter included a closed session), and then adjourned. No members of the public spoke during the meeting's public-comment period.
The meeting was convened at 7:01 p.m. in the Municipal Building at 100 Community Drive, Skillman. The board set its next meetings for Feb. 25 and Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.; March dates were also discussed.
