Sudbury Housing Authority approves January checks, defers FYE26 budget revision after late Q3 report

The Sudbury Housing Authority unanimously approved checks written in January during its Feb. 10, 2026 meeting; Commissioner S. Cline made the motion and Treasurer A. Lepak seconded.
Executive Director S. Cusolito presented the FYE26 Q3 financial report and the Q2 MOD report. Cusolito said portions of the MOD report were illegible and that she will request a fresh copy. Commissioner S. Cline said all three programs ran in the black during the quarter. Because the Q3 report arrived late, Cusolito told the board a standard fiscal-year budget revision could not be prepared accurately; the board agreed to take up the FYE26 revision and the FYE27 budget proposal at the March meeting. The TAR will be presented in March.
Why it matters: the audit and budget calendar drives when SHA can finalize allocations and staffing levels; later-than-expected reporting has delayed a routine budget revision.
The board did not adopt a revised FYE26 budget at the Feb. 10 meeting; staff will deliver the requested reports and bring the revision for consideration in March.
