Clarksville board approves hires, resignation and fundraisers; sets calendar hearing

On motions led by Phil Barnett and seconded by Megan Hoodjer, the board approved the minutes for December 2025 and accepted the December financial reports and January monthly bills. The minutes state those motions were carried unanimously.
The board approved a resignation and several personnel recommendations: the recorded resignation was Taylor Ahrenholz (assistant softball). The board approved contracts for Robert Justice as a science teacher at $50,000 and Jeremy Johnson as junior high girls wrestling coach at $1,884. The board also approved volunteer appointments for Matt Hoodjer and Justin Clark (junior high boys basketball), Makayla Holub (softball) and Taylor Ahrenholz (softball). Those personnel motions were recorded as carried unanimously.
Item 9a, a second reading of the 300 Series Administration board policy review, was tabled. Shelley Maiers moved and Megan Hoodjer seconded a motion to set the 2026-27 calendar hearing for Feb. 16, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.; the motion carried unanimously. The board also approved fundraisers for the Beta group and the junior-high PBIS program.
The meeting adjourned at 6:42 p.m. The minutes do not list further discussion on the policy-review content or additional debate on the personnel approvals.
