Clinton announces Waterside Lane meeting, trolley kickoff, Pierson construction schedule and Memorial Day parade

Town Manager Michelle Benivegna provided a set of community and project updates during the council meeting May 20. She announced the annual Memorial Day Parade will step off from Post Office Square at 11:00 AM on May 25. A public informational meeting on the Waterside Lane project is scheduled for Thursday, June 4 at 6:00 PM in the Green Room to provide a project update and field questions from the public.
Benivegna said trolley service will launch the weekend of May 23; additional route and schedule information is available on the town website. She also reported that the Pierson development closing has been tentatively rescheduled to early September, with construction expected to take about 15 months and lease-up projected to begin in winter 2027–28. The summer concert series lineup is being finalized and will be held at Pierson.
